Hanchett Paper Company Supply Chain Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio

The Supply Chain Analyst will partner with the Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, & Sales teams in supporting the existing and new customers that Shorr services. Will be responsible for volume planning and monitoring Shorr's supply chain to communicate with stakeholders. The Supply Chain Analyst will review and analyze data to locate areas of process that need improving. In addition, conduct analysis and develop methods to improve internal process. Responsibilities Oversees transportation/freight cost review and invoicing for managed transportation accounts. Collect and provide detailed data/information for Peak season planning for the Ship from Store programs. Design and implement distribution model planning for Ship from Store programs; includes review of existing programs and optimized planning for potential new programs. Build rapport with Shorr warehouse operations team and Corporate Transportation team to ensure on-time delivery of goods to both Customer locations and Shorr warehouses. Provide direction to Corporate Transportation team & freight carrier partners as necessary for Customer-specific programs. Consistently seek ways to improve supply chain management by periodically reviewing the customer servicing locations to logistically optimize the Shorr network. Partner with the National Accounts team to determine the best operational solution for supporting both day-to-day business and projects for the Customer. Serve as a liaison between the Customer and the Shorr operations team. Participate in weekly scheduled meetings with both internal teams and Customers. Compile, analyze, and report on data/metrics requests from both internal teams and the Customer. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years' experience working with warehousing/distribution/logistics/transportation operations, preferably with a Packaging Distributor, 3PL or B2C retailer. Strong organizational skills. Strong skill set in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on advanced Excel skills. Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate effectively. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and to prioritize tasks to ensure objectives and timelines are met.
