General Summary
Currently, we have a great opportunity available for a Customer Account Specialist to join our Customer Service team at our Cincinnati, OH headquarters. You will be responsible for providing professional and friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment and ensuring that customer orders are processed timely and accurately. This role will report to the Customer Service Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively within a highly matrixed, global environment
Manage customer orders through the entire order cycle from order entry to shipment, including generating shipping packets, scheduling transportation and ship confirming of domestic and international orders
Work collaboratively with Planning, Production and Shipping departments, including freight forwarders and customer brokers, to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of customer orders
Work with Safety and Regulatory departments to ensure that all domestic and international shipments and associated documents are compliant with the relevant regulations for safety, transportation, customs and commerce
As a customer advocate, manage communication with Sales and other departments to proactively respond to customer needs and maintain customer satisfaction
Answer customer questions about our products, services and other business functions
Proactively problem solve customer order issues, track and expedite orders, domestic and international

Able to build effective working relationships across the functional teams and with the international organization
Knowledge of INCO terms and Haz Mat requirements
Import/Export, shipping and logistics knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Flexibility to occasionally work beyond established hours
Education and Experience
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Two (2) or more years of customer service/inside sales or customer facing experience required
Two (2) or more years’ experience in international/domestic shipping and logistics – strongly preferred
Experience with ERP systems, Oracle / JDE preferred
SalesForce (SFDC) Experience preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
