2060 Digital LLC Senior Web Developer in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Overview

Responsible for the overall strategy, development and maintenance of 2060 Digital client websites, internal websites, and internal tools; also responsible for providing cross-department support to facilitate accurate tracking and measurement of advertising campaign performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and the design/project management team for development solutions to meet clients' needs.
  • Work to understand business requirements and help translate into technical requirements for the development team.
  • Assist in quoting new web development jobs in conjunction with the digital proposal and strategy team
  • Thoroughly test and deploy websites/applications and lead code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot reported bugs on internal or external digital products.
  • Assist in the placement of tracking codes and other scripts to support advertising operations and analytics efforts.
  • Provide long-term web maintenance and support.
  • Develop internal tools and/or recommend products/platforms for improved internal efficiency and workflow.
  • Assist with training, hiring and coordinating daily tasks for team and support staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a web developer role, preferred (agency experience also preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / ECMAScript (ES2015 & beyond)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and/or libraries, particularly React.
  • Experience with component-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with headless content management systems and static website generators such as Gatsby.js and Next.js.
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL database solutions, such as mySQL/mariadb, Redis and/or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, version control systems, and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of cross platform, cross browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience with web analytics and event / conversion tracking methods.
  • Working knowledge of web accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with WordPress and PHP is a bonus.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to write effective documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a flexible and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work established schedule and other hours as needed.
