Job Overview: This position will provide paralegal support to the attorneys in the TriHealth Legal Department Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies Paralegal Certificate or minimum of 5 years paralegal experience in a law firm, health care system or corporate legal department required. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for working closely with attorneys to review, draft and redline a variety of contracts using templates and internal resources, as well as follow-up with internal clients on various matters related thereto. Such contracts may include vendor purchasing agreements, service agreements, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, business associate agreements, clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other general contracts and related amendments. Assumes lead role on reviewing and managing subpoena responses, following up with internal business leads on needed documents. Provides support on physician practice acquisitions and other transactions and projects, medical staff documents, policy reviews, board resolutions, and initiatives within the Legal Department. Become proficient in TriHealth's database platforms including contract lifecycle management, Secretary of State filing platform, tracking of legal expenses software and other systems within TriHealth. Other duties as assigned. Other Job-Related Information: Understanding of legal and health care terminology and principles, contract drafting, research methods, business filings, subpoena process, and other related matters. Familiarity with hospital and health care operations, regulations and laws, preferred. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment as a valued team member, as well as, working well independently to achieve goals. Exceptional time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize work requests from multiple attorneys to meet necessary deadlines with strong attention to detail. Professional demeanor and behavior with the ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a "can do" attitude. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Desire and drive to learn, think outside the box and partner with attorneys to achieve department and system goals.
