Candidate must live within an hour commute from Columbus or Cincinnati, OH. This role will have the flexibility to work from home but must be able to report to the ORC Columbus or Cincinnati, OH office 1-3 days/week. What you will be doing: As our Assistant Right of Way Project Manager, you will assist in managing complex, federally funded public sector Right of Way projects. You will perform task work to include but not limited to acquisition/relocation activities. You'll work alongside the Project Manager (PM), our amazing clients and other members of the Right of Way team to make sure their projects are executed seamlessly, from start to finish. From ensuring the right scope of work is in place to tracking and monitoring the project budget and financial requirements, you'll have your hands in every part of the project lifecycle. But that's not all! You'll also be building relationships with key vendors and agencies, pursuing new business development opportunities, and supporting our recruiting efforts. As the day-to-day manager of the project, you'll be responsible for keeping us on track, from timely project reporting to sending invoices to our clients. And if that weren't enough, you'll also be managing our team of direct reports, making sure everyone is performing at their best and ensuring the project stays on schedule. We are looking for someone who: Has the ability to successfully manage a project team. Provide quality feedback and coaching to staff. Able to properly delegate to ensure the success of the project. Can work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively. Has excellent communication skills; verbal, written, interpersonal, listening. Is approachable, responsive and good interacting with diverse groups of people. Is responsible anddemonstratesorganizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Is a critical thinker, problem solver, and strong attention to detail. Supports andrecommends department or companywide changes. Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems. Valid Driver's License Bonus Points if you have experience working with or within the ODOT!
