POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The Operations Specialist will work in collaboration with assigned team members to provide operational support and assistance to the Bank's lending programs. This position is primarily focused on the review of various materials (background information, reports, procedures, onboarding new third-party vendors and gathering supportive documents to assist with internal and external audits of the division's service organizations etc.) and assisting the team with analysis and escalation of the results. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * 2+ years' work experience related to customer experience, issue resolution, financial products, data analysis required. * Demonstrated knowledge of root cause determination and analysis required. * Basic knowledge of Third-Party Vendor management is preferred. * Basic knowledge of consumer lending products and regulations preferred. * Proficient in standard MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform assigned background research using LexisNexis, Dunn & Bradstreet, social media, and other internet sources, to assist in the completion of risk assessments for submission to the Third-Party Risk Committee. * Escalate negative findings from background reviews to the RCS Third-Party Risk Manager. * Work with the RCS Third-Party Risk Manager to maintain the schedule of reviews for vendors. * Accurately input and organize information into the vendor management system. * Field phone calls, as needed, from consumers regarding credit inquiries and other questions regarding our products. This includes research and tracking to completion. * Work with Manager and associates to ensure specific aspects of program launches are tested and delivered on schedule. * Monitor products to ensure processes are working as designed. Recommend updates and enhancements as appropriate. * Open, sort, scan, monitor, and forward all mail correspondence to the appropriate Program Manager or corresponding payment processor. * Assist the Relationship Managers with facilitating ongoing meetings with Program Managers. * Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required. * Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank's values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization. * Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
