Actalent Project Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio
Description:
Actalent is currently hiring for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading A&E firm in Cincinnati, OH and as the Project Manager you will focus in areas of scope, budget, and quality for large industrial and commercial facilities. Work closely with clients to identify their needs and, with the project team, develop successful solutions. This key role requires a professional with proven high levels of personal integrity, follow-through, and the ability to get results while representing challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. You will report to the Vice President and Manager of Project Management, and as a Project Manager you will lead overall direction of specialized design projects. You will assess challenges, take charge, and execute successfully towards the overall completion of projects, and maintain rapport with clients. Work proactively across multi-discipline design teams and provide mentorship to others in an environment that values collaboration. As the Project Manager, you will externally and internally manage Industrial, Food & Beverage, Biotech, Science & Technology, Pharmaceutical, and GMP manufacturing facility projects. You will utilize your knowledge of construction management, architecture, and engineering to help facilitate the entire process of how the facility will be designed & built. This is a Direct Hire opportunity where you will be hired on directly with the A&E firm from Day 1.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering Having a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license, Registered Architect (R.A.) license, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a Plus +5 years of experience working on large-scale facilities design projects in an industrial, office, or R&D environment. This experience can come from the owner's rep side of the spectrum or from the consulting side of the spectrum Knowledge of contracts pertaining to design & construction, schedules, cost estimating and the design process Proven success in developing client relationships to understand their business and advocate their needs Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
