Insight Global Project Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description

An employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Project Manager with a construction background for a contract opportunity. This Project Manager will be responsible for managing a concrete floor rejuvenation Capital Project for a large retail chain. This PM will be expected to execute projects at the lowest cost and in the shortest time consistent with the approved scope of work and appropriated funds. They will assist in developing capital budgets and allocations for flooring updates, manage processes for new and existing vendors, analyze and determine root cause and design issues to provide engineering support, while supporting division teams with project scoping, design criteria and quality control. This PM will be expected to provide the corporate engineering team with budgets reports, service level reports, project updates, division goal status. Working with one of PM, they will own a majority of the reporting, scheduling and updates through software and systems. An individual with a background in commercial retail construction, with strong reporting, scheduling, and presentation skills will be able to hit the ground running. This role will sit onsite in Cincinnati 3 days a week, working remote 2 days a week, and can include 15-20% travel to retail locations.

Skills and Requirements

2-5 years of project management experience

Experience managing constriction or maintenance engineering capital projects (remodels, retrofitting, rebuilds)

Commercial retail experience

Project management software experience

Good with reporting and presenting

Project scheduling Engineering/Construction Bachelor Degree (mechanical, electrical, industrial, facilities, etc.)

Flooring project experience

PMP null
