Production Planner - Blue Ash, OH

The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing production data, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently to maintain optimal production flow.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment breakdowns, or other disruptions.

  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.

  • Prepare reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and other key metrics.

  • Assist in inventory management by tracking material usage and coordinating with the procurement team for timely replenishment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning and scheduling processes.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of NC Programming
