For more information, please visit our website atwww.sunchemical.comor connect with us onLinkedInorTwitter Job Title: Production OperatorDepartment: Production Location: Cincinnati, OH (Redna Terrace)Supervisor: Production Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION: Manufacture printing ink in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to quality procedures as directed and scheduled by the Plant Manager and Shift Lead. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operates mixers/shot mills following safe and provided procedures Review ticket to assure understanding of the product to be manufactured Enter ingredients in the sequence designated Provide samples to the QC lab for inspection Place finished product in designated container Submits near miss/opportunities reports, promote safety awareness In addition to manufacturing the primary product there are other assignments that become necessary on an as needed basis such as, but not limited to: Plant cleanliness; equipment cleaning Waste disposal General assignments REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years' work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment preferred Forklift experience; basic math skills Work overtime as needed.
