About the IDD Education Center The mission of the IDD Education Center is to to create meaningful, life-changing experiences for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through innovative research, education and services. The University of Cincinnati's IDD Education Center provides life-changing programs for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to further their education, independence, and life skills. Program participants reach their potential and find their purpose in a community that accepts and supports them to be the best they can be. The IDD Education Center embraces the University's strategic direction of Next Lives Here, breaking boundaries and providing inclusive opportunities for employment, social connections, and life-long learning. We currently house four programs: Transition and Access Pathways Program, IMPACT Innovation, Collaboration for Employment and Education Synergy, and the Regional Autism Advisory Council. Learn more here: https://cech.uc.edu/schools/education/IDDEdCenter.html Job Overview Under the supervision of the Business Manager: Review, analyze and facilitate the implementation of HR processes within the organization. The primary scope for this position will be managing the hiring process for our 100+ annual student worker hires. This includes components of recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and timekeeping for all programs in the IDD Education Center.Review, analyze and facilitate the implementation of HR processes within an organization. Essential Functions * Assist with the coordination of HR functions for the four organizational units within the IDD Education Center as it pertains to student workers (recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and tracking training requirements). * Work with Talent Acquisition on job postings, recruitment, and selection process for part-time and full-time staff. May prepare job postings to fill vacancies. * Coordinate timekeeping and/or payroll processing for organizational unit including student workers and professional staff. * May initiate systematic personnel changes for organizational units. Analyze various HR data for quality improvement recommendations. * Assist with implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Assist with project management functions. * May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). * Will be trained on basic financial processing procedures to ensure cross training of skills across the Center. Required Education Bachelor's Degree Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Additional Qualif
