Pay Rate: $85,000-$95,000 per year Shift: First shift As the Financial Manager of Development, you will oversee and guide the Financial Analyst during the lender underwriting process. Your responsibilities will include building the Total Development Budget and Operating Proformas for each project, collaborating with the development team and executive management to structure and negotiate funding terms, and ensuring accurate financial recording in both project entities and CMHA's accounting systems. Responsibilities: Provide supervision and guidance to the Financial Analyst for projects in the Construction/Development phase Collaborate with various departments to coordinate project costs, compliance/reporting, and funding delivery timing Structure and negotiate terms with partners, investors, and lenders Monitor financial details to meet lender requirements Review financial reports to enhance budgeting and planning Analyze public housing portfolio for optimization Participate in financial decision-making as a member of the management team Establish and maintain relationships with external parties such as lenders, lawyers, and auditors Qualifications: Ability to understand and implement HUD and IRS regulations Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders Experience in financial analysis and negotiation Proficiency in various accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus) 5-7 years of senior-level experience in finance or accounting regulated by GAAP and IRS, with 3-5 years of experience in HUD financial reporting standards and regulations Experience in structuring Real Estate development projects Our partner company offers a comprehensive benefits package, which will be provided upon hire.
