Job Overview The Business Officer of Student Affairs, is seeking to hire multiple Financial Administrator 2 positions from this one posting. Under the supervision of the business officer, the Financial Administrator 2 will oversee the planning and supervision of the fiscal administrative activities of a functional area. Essential Functions * Oversee daily processing and accounting functions; ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with university, local, state and federal requirements and standard accounting and audit procedures including all compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. * Proficiency in preparing budgets, collaborating with functional units to develop forecasts, to monitor and report on financial results. * Comprehend and enforce the University's financial policies and apply these policies to various financial transactions and offer guidance to leadership. * Monitor the financial status of budgetary allocations. * May coordinate personnel functions for an functional area. * Perform related duties as assigned or departmental need. Required Education Bachelor's Degree must be in accounting or related work. Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Two (2) years of finance or accounting experience. Additional Qualifications Considered * Detail oriented and organized * Strong analytical skills * Ability to multi-task and prioritize * Experience with Microsoft office (Power BI and Excel). * Experience with SAP. * Higher Ed Experience Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
