GENERAL FUNCTION:

Part of Finance Transformation team responsible for leading the modernization of our financial systems platform to increase data transparency and improved efficiencies. Performs complex analysis of data and other work assignments in support of one to many Finance Department functions (Accounting, Treasury, Forecasting). Works to solve complex problems while utilizing best practices based on system and business knowledge. Focuses efforts around automation in reporting, documenting data flow for transparency, and pursuing resolution of data quality issues in partnership with various lines of business. Escalates and communicates issues as they arise to ensure the right level of visibility.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs complex analysis and other work assignments for one of the following Treasury related departmental functions: Asset/Liability internal reporting or Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

Provides data to complex analysis related to balance sheet, NII and risk management.

Employs the use of ALM, QRM and other models to assist in creating assessments of the Bancorp’s risk / return profile in support of the Asset/Liability internal reporting.

Utilizes the regulatory reporting application to help drive appropriate regulatory reporting in line with Federal Reserve guidelines in support of the Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

Identifies, analyzes, and supports data used in the processes used by Treasury to support critical business processes.

Communicates with internal stakeholders, maintaining regular communication with Finance and Accounting, the lines of business, Treasury, IT, and EDO to ensure that all appropriate items and issues are addressed, and that important items are documented and presented timely to senior management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, employee development, talent management and succession planning, and recognizing and rewarding employee accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree required. A major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Information Technology strongly preferred.

MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Typically requires five or more years of a Treasury-related role or support function in at least one functional area: Asset/Liability or Funding/Liquidity. Financial services / banking industry experience preferred.

Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills and experience required. Experience with ALM modeling software desired (QRM preferred) for those aligned to Asset/Liability function.

Knowledge of treasury products including but not limited to investment securities, capital markets, and various money market products including fed funds, repurchase agreements, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, and banknotes.

Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient with computer software, analytical and data base management tools.

Proven ability to independently manage multiple assignments and demonstrated initiative.

Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building and teamwork.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Proficiency with SAS strongly preferred.
