Staffmark is currently seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician for direct hire with a reputable local food manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH. This opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing production equipment to ensure seamless operations. Salary: $58,240-$68,640/yearly Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4-10 Rotating Schedule) As a Maintenance Technician with our Cincinnati-based food manufacturing partner, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of maintenance activities. These include performing preventive maintenance, updating, repairing, optimizing, and installing equipment essential to our production processes. You will be tasked with maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and ensuring prompt repairs to keep our production machines operating smoothly. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized work environment in adherence to stringent safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety standards will be crucial. You'll also be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow GMP guidelines to uphold our commitment to quality and safety. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Candidates should have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with food processing equipment. Strong skills in pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems, including PLCs and VFDs, are essential. Welding proficiency and excellent troubleshooting abilities are also required. A valid driver's license, attention to detail, and familiarity with industrial equipment are necessary. The role demands independence, integrity, and adaptability to a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should possess excellent hand-eye coordination and be capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs above shoulder height. They must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions, including environments with light dust and noisy equipment. Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
