Trihealth Inc CONTRACT COORDINATOR-PURCHASING in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Overview: Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products. Assumes accountability and responsibility for analytical duties related to contracting and negotiating supplies / services and equipment throughout TriHeath and its managed and affiliated member hospitals and clinics/alternate care facilities. Develops bid strategy appropriate to each category; Meets with committees to validate strategy, collect bid requirements; Collaborates with legal staff to customize contract template with specific client requirements for each category; Executes RFPs; Negotiates bid responses with supplier representatives; Resolves customer issues related to portfolio contracts; Works with the Clinical Services to develop strategies on contract implementation; Works with suppliers to identify added benefits/value of the contract (i.e. special services, training, etc.) with the supplier and communicates that value within TriHealth. Job Requirements: Associate's Degree Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree Proficiency with office software, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc. 3-4 years experience in a related field Job Responsibilities: TriHealth's terms and conditions are negotiated effectively and timely TriHealth cost reductions initiatives met. Purchasing contract database is maintained and accurate. Customer's goals and expectations are met on a timely basis.
