MRA - The Management Association Continuous Improvement Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Company: Monti Incorporated Location: Cincinnati, OH Position: Continuous Improvement Manager Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Manager will assess, monitor, and enhance business performance for our organization. In this role, you will analyze current practices and develop business process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Analyze company process and procedures Developing process enhancement strategies Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes Establishing norms and standards of company performance Monitoring staff performance and organizational processes Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimization Work weekends and other overtime as needed and when appropriate. Work with other departments to ensure work quality and process improvements. Completes other duties as assigned by manager Promote a safe and clean working environment. Abide by and enforce policies of the company Employee Handbook. Required Skills/Abilities: Sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures A strategic, analytical, and mechanical mindset An excellent communicator A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities Leadership and mentoring skills Confidence in abilities to lead organizational change Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, or operations A graduate degree in business or MBA would be beneficial 5 years' experience in process optimization, operations, or business management in a manufacturing setting Lean or Six Sigma training would be beneficial Physical Requirements: Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, mobile equipment, and walking surfaces strewn with materials, power cords and tools is typical. Occasional lifting to 15 lbs. Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day. Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work. Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
