Base Operations Supervisor, Air Care & Mobile Care
UC Health is hiring a full-time Base Operations Supervisor to join our Air Care & Mobile Care team.
Holding a position on Air Care & Mobile Care's Leadership Team, the Base Operations Supervisor (BOS) serves as the site supervisor of the air and ground transport program's remote base(s) by providing administrative and clinical supervision (as defined by scope of practice) for all site related activities. The BOS coordinates and supervises the daily operations of the Air Care & Mobile Care staff at the remote base(s) assigned. They are responsible for ensuring all department, hospital, Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), and state regulations are maintained. With the collaboration of the Clinical Manager, Director, and Medical Directors, the BOS ensures the continuity and quality of patient care and delivery of services. They also work to coordinate outreach and marketing activities to area hospitals and EMS systems. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the BOS must maintain compliance standards as a Paramedic or EMT-B as specified by their medical discipline/scope of practice.
