Job Overview The University of Cincinnati College of Law seeks to fill this full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position with an expected start date of August 2025. The responsibilities of this position include developing and delivering programming, courses, and individual coaching to enable law students to achieve their academic potential and succeed on the bar exam. This member of the faculty will teach and develop courses, supervise Academic Success and Bar Program staff, analyze and report data to the faculty, staff, and others, and work with students each year of their law school journey. The position will report to the Dean of the College of Law. We invite applications from candidates with a J.D., licensed to practice law (acquired through a bar exam), and prior academic or bar support teaching experience (or combination of legal practice and other law school teaching experience). Essential Functions Teach and supervise assigned courses including, among others, courses in skills and writing for the bar exam and skills-based courses keyed to other topics aimed to increase students' academic skills (such as Legal Ethics or Evidence). Prepare materials for teaching. Develop, implement, and supervise a program to help the students of the College of Law meet their bar passage goals. Develop, implement, and supervise the College of Law's academic success program. Counsel and tutor students to improve bar passage and academic success. Work collaboratively with College of Law faculty and staff on developments with bar examinations and data-informed trends in student bar performance. Work with faculty on initiatives to improve bar examination performance, including academic rules and policies. Collect and report bar performance data to external accreditation and other required bodies. Supervise staff and student employees. Serve on College and/or University committees and
