Trihealth Inc ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT II - GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL - FULL TIME (80 HRS), in Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Overview: This position would have the primary responsibility for performing frozen microtomy on surgical specimens obtained from the various surgical facilities located within TriHealth (GSH, BN, Evendale, Anderson, Butler and any other additional facilities that may be added to the corporate network.) In addition to frozen sections, this position would be responsible for assisting with cytology procedures at any or all of the TriHealth facilities listed above. Assisting would consist of --staining slides and/or preparing specimens for send-out. This position has the following responsibilities: assist the pathologists, pathologist assistants, and histotechnologists in all related duties in Surgical Pathology; make and receive to/from customers of TriHealth; serve as a laboratory liaison for a variety of TriHealth customers; gather necessary data for service and billing; completes paperwork that meets compliance set by OIG which includes the accurate interpretation and transcription of physician orders and LIS/HIS order entry.
