Main Responsibilities

  • Managing engineering projects in processing area from conceptual to completion. This involves project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. You'll need to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Work closely with global subject matter expert in engineering and design teams to develop specifications for processing equipment. This includes defining equipment requirements, creating layouts, and ensuring that the equipment meets hygienic standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of the project processing plant. This includes coordinating construction activities, ensuring equipment is installed correctly, and conducting tests to verify proper functionality.

  • Ensuring that processing equipment and systems meet Unilever quality standards and comply with industry regulations is a crucial aspect of the role. You'll be responsible for quality control processes and documentation to ensure product safety and consistency.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.

  • Managing project budgets efficiently is essential. Project Engineers are responsible for monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and controlling expenses to stay within budget.

  • Maintain clear and open communication with project team members and stakeholders.
