Aerotek Mechanical Technician in Cibolo, Texas
Job Description
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of all machines and work processes. You will conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and maintain a safe working environment while documenting all completed maintenance work orders accurately.
Maintain knowledge of all machines and work processes.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) to ensure machining efficiency.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
Thoroughly and accurately document all completed maintenance work orders.
Essential Skills
2-4 years of experience in a production or industrial maintenance environment.
General mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, measurement instruments, automation/robotics, and maintenance and repair.
Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing or large industrial equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment and move quickly between tasks.
SHIFT
Rotates every 28 days between 1st and 3rd shifts,
typically from Monday to Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am to 3:15 pm.
The work environment is indoor, climate-controlled, and fast-paced.
