Continental Module Developer - EMO1 in Chongqing, China

The Automotive group sector comprises technologies for passive safety, brake, chassis, motion and motion control systems. Comprehensive activities relating to connectivity technologies, vehicle electronics and high-performance computers round off the range of products and services.

  • Develop EE design for core modules and create module documentation in accordance to Reusable Module (RM) HW development process.

  • Provide support to connect to the local and regional teams in China (eg, project team, central purchasing, supplier quality) and deliver the work products.

  • Work with inter-disciplinary teams, global and regional in China across all Business Areas to define controller, memory and components requirements for local sourcing.

  • Connect and resolve with suppliers/inter-disciplines/departments (eg, SW teams, quality department, category management) on issues, components sourcing, errata topics, PCNs/PTNs, component allocation items and field failure return analysis.

  • Provide support to quotation and application teams, global and regional in China across all Business Areas on controller platforms and memory-related topics.

  • Maintain controller/memory platforms and modules with regards to documentation updates, change management, issues handling and application support.

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with preferably 3 years of experience in a product design and development environment.

  • Good knowledge and experience in analogue/digital electronic design and EMC design techniques.

  • Knowledge of PCB layout and design validation methodology.

  • Knowledge of controller/memory and silicon technologies.

  • Experience in developing automotive products and automotive quality requirements will be an advantage.

  • Experience with hardware development process and tools (e.g. ZUKEN, MathCAD, Pspice).

  • Pro-active, self-motivated and a well-organized team player.

  • Strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills (English and Chinese).

  • Willing to travel for work and training.
