McDermott Associate Project Controls Specialist in Chiswick, United Kingdom

Job Overview:

In this role, you will be supporting the Project Controls team on a wide range of projects at all stages of the development life cycle, from concept through to engineering, procurement, and construction.

Key Tasks and Responsibility:

As a Graduate Project Controls Engineer, you will be:

  • Work alongside some of the most talented Project Controls specialists in the industry to deliver a range of challenging projects, from Energy Transition concepts to multi-billion-dollar EPC mega-projects in the oil & gas sector

  • Support project controls set up and delivery on assigned projects. This will include involvement in Planning, Cost control, Risk management, Change Management and project reporting

  • Participate in project controls meetings and supporting development of work processes and procedures specific to the assigned project

  • Collaborate with other disciplines and functions to facilitate project controls work processes

  • Develop Project controls skills using systems and Company Management procedures

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Sciences or Engineering ideal, but not mandatory. Minimum 2:1 degree classification

  • We really value relevant work experience gained through industrial placements, internships, and work experience. Make sure you tell us about this if you have it, particularly where you have developed your team-working, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK
