Prysmian Group Distribution and Warehouse Associate in Chino, California

Overview

$19.90 hr. To start, $1.50 SHIFT PREMIUM, UP TO $4,000 ANNUAL BONUS and PAY FOR SKILLS PROGRAM

FULL TIME Positions available NOW for Production Machine and Reach Truck Operators!

Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm 3:30pm-12:00am

Western Regional Distribution Center in CHINO CA

Responsibilities

  • Receives, stores, picks and ships products within distribution center by performing the following duties:

  • Unloads product, separates, counts and verifies inbound product to packing slip before unitizing and/or transferring product to storage.

  • Utilizes powered industrial equipment, WMS system and RF Handheld unit to place product in designated rack or storage locations.

  • Utilizes powered industrial equipment , WMS system and RF to pick appropriate products from locations to complete orders.

  • Assembles customer orders, places product on pallets and transports to the shipping department, stretch wraps pallet and locates pallet on specified dock location.

  • Loads trailers, based on customer specifications, with orders for shipment.

  • Processes UPS orders.

  • Replenishes master reels to the cutting area.

  • Complies and takes full responsibility to support facility’s quality program.

  • Complies with safety policies and procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds- Team lift or reach truck may be utilized to move these heavier reels. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to communicate effectively;

  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety requirements;

  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (order picker and/or reach truck) or ability to learn;

  • Basic Warehouse Skills:

  • Receiving

  • Picking

  • Pallet Pick

  • Cycle Counting

  • Loading

  • Replenishment/Shuttle

  • Small Package

  • Cutting

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and urinary drug screen required.
