Job Responsibilities/Required Skills: • Monitor students who are assigned to a study hall class • Maintain effective classroom management in a large group setting • Oversee students working independently and collaboratively • Organize, distribute, and collect district technology devices for daily student use • Ability to effectively deal with and de-escalate challenging students and situations • Collaborate with students and staff to manage assigned student locations • Proficient knowledge of ProgressBook • Proficient knowledge of Google programs (Docs & Sheets) • Proficient in basic content knowledge to assist students with completion of assignments • Nurture a positive relationship with super-ordinates, subordinates and peers • Demonstrate respect for super-ordinates, subordinates and peers • Support school decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives • Work as a team player • Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful and professional manner • Address concerns and offer suggestions in an appropriate and confidential manner • Outstanding communication skills • Record of excellence in attendance
