Copeland Quality and Manufacturing Engineer in Chihuahua, Mexico
Job Responsibilities
Deploy the human resources assigned to the Quality department to achieve maximum performance while producing Quality product with a minimum cost.
Manage the material resources for an efficient control system.
Monitor the implementation of new processes or products with system adjustments.
Assure that the disposition of materials identified as discrepant in the manufacturing or inspection systems is correct.
Promote Quality awareness in all company employees.
Assure that the systems conform to the divisional policies and directives.
Provide containment, corrective and preventive actions to Customers when discrepancies are reported or products are returned, following the 8D Methodology
Request effective containment, corrective and preventive actions on-time from Suppliers when necessary, following the 8D Methodology.
Maintain the plant’s Quality Management Systems approved by the certification and safety agencies, such as AGA, CGA, UL, CSA, etc.
Coordinate the recovery of costs associated with reworking or sorting supplier defective material.
Maintain a communication line with our customers to achieve their satisfaction.
Implement statistical techniques for problem solving efforts.
Implement a Total Quality Management Plan throughout the company.
Stimulate the employee’s team’s participation in the continuous improvement effort.
Maintain the integrity of the Quality Management systems to the registrar (ISO9001).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree in an Engineering area.
Experience in Quality management for more than 5 years.
Experience in Total Quality programs.
Bilingual English-Spanish (more than 85%).
Knowledge on design of experiments and correlations.
Experience managing ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Experience using the 8D Problem Solving Methodology
Knowledge in business management.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Desirable.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Desirable.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified – Six Sigma Black Belt Certified Desirable.
