Byline Bank Treasury Management (TM) Operations Supervisor in Chicago, Illinois

Objective of Position:

The Treasury Management (TM) Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising and supporting all functions of Treasury Management Operations (TMO). This role supports Treasury Management Sales with onboarding prospects and daily customer service needs. The Supervisor provides assistance with Product Vendors, Treasury Management services improvements, TMO Procedures, and Audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees TMO staff to ensure customers are being enabled accurately and in accordance with Bank Policy and Departmental Procedures.

  • Responsible for the training of TMO staff to ensure they understand treasury management programs for Byline Bank clients and can work directly with internal customers to provide training and technical support, as necessary.

  • Supports Treasury Management Sales pipeline teams with effective processes to assure onboarding is a smooth experience for the customers.

  • Works with Treasury Management Manager to ensure that operational procedures are efficient and error-free through strong controls and processes.

  • Prepares items requested for risk management review, audits, and exams.

  • Prepares operational reporting metrics for inclusion in management reporting.

  • Assists with managing risk of the treasury management products and the customers who use them by ensuring TMO staff are compliant with policies, procedures and regulations for product and customer lifecycle and conducting initial and ongoing risk assessments.

  • Assists in ongoing coaching and Career Development of the TMO team.

  • Maintains and enhances industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and products.

  • Monitors product vendor communications on enhancements and scheduled maintenance.

  • Participation in projects and project meetings which includes active involvement in testing, validation, and reporting issues.

  • Creates, modifies, and reviews all procedures.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of online-banking, treasury management fulfillment and operations, and products/services.

  • Innovative and able to adjust quickly to changing business landscapes.

  • Strong analytical and research, planning, organizing, and controlling skills.

  • Be a strategic thinking with the ability to develop, communicate and implement plans that support the overall goals of the Bank.

  • Be recognized as a strategic thinker and creative problem solver.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

  • Be self-motivated and an effective time and project manager with a strong attention to detail.

  • Have strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.

  • Ability to identify, understand and define problems evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects, and implement high quality solutions.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies.

  • High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 to $110,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Byline Bank offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
