Robert Half Trade Deductions Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
Description
We are seeking a Trade Deductions Specialist for our manufacturing facility located in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a contract employment opportunity and will be based on-site. Our specialist will be primarily responsible for deductions, trade experience, and strong data management. The candidate will also be tasked with reviewing customer orders post go-live to ensure data accuracy and verifying invoice details for accuracy to avoid payment delays.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of deductions experience and trade experience
• Exhibit strong data management skills
• Review customer orders post go-live to ensure data accuracy
• Verify invoice details for accuracy to avoid payment delays
• Conduct research to identify and resolve errors
• Apply analytical skills to manage cash applications
• Utilize software such as D365 and Excel effectively
• Work collaboratively with the AR & Cash/Deductions Manager to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in the "go live" clean up process to ensure smooth transitions
• Utilize skills in Deductions, CPG, Remittance, Spend Analysis, and Coding Invoices to enhance job performance.
Requirements • Proficiency in Deductions, CPG, Remittance, Spend Analysis, and Coding Invoices.
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Trade/Sales Assistant functions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and growth in the role.
