Job Description:
This job description is for a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Validation Manager based in Chicago, Illinois. The role is aimed at professionals with 7-10 years of experience in risk management, audit, and vendor management, and requires significant expertise in Java and recent experience with delivery risk management . Here’s an overview of the role and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Analysis & Due Diligence: Oversee and conduct analysis of new third-party engagements, ensuring proper due diligence is conducted both for new and existing third-party vendors. This includes reviewing documentation, providing analysis, and offering recommendations.
Oversight of Engagements: Final approval of new vendor engagements, ensuring these align with risk management policies and regulatory guidelines. Actively oversee ongoing monitoring and certification of engagements.
Review & Challenge: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other management teams to provide challenge and oversight of the due diligence process, identifying any potential weaknesses in the vendor control environment.
Vendor Inspections & Issue Monitoring: Participate in onsite vendor inspections when necessary, and monitor and track any issues identified during the third-party monitoring process. Work on remediation plans as issues arise.
Workflow Management: Work with reporting and workflow staff to mitigate bottlenecks and ensure that issues are escalated effectively.
Collaboration & Compliance: Collaborate with internal groups involved in outsourcing and vendor oversight, ensuring compliance with the TPRM framework and reducing any redundant efforts.
Committee & Presentation Material: Contribute to committee meetings and presentations related to risk and vendor oversight.
TPRM Technology Solutions: Ensure proper functioning of TPRM technology solutions and workflows.
Required Skills:
Experience: 7-10 years in risk management, audit , or delivery risk management roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java (7-10 years of experience), with knowledge of technology workflows in the TPRM space.
Language Skills: Basic proficiency in English and French is required.
Risk Management Expertise: Solid experience with Third Party Risk Management and compliance with regulatory standards in managing vendor relationships.

Salary Transparency:
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to the highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $70,000 to $100,000
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
