Job Description:

Come grow with McDonald’s Restaurant Development Legal Team!  We are a group of real estate legal professionals on the lookout for a talented Senior Paralegal to join us in building new McDonald’s restaurants to feed and foster communities across the U.S.  If you're experienced in commercial real estate and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and work independently, this is your opportunity to unleash your creativity, tackle complex legal issues and make an impact to shape McDonald’s future. 

Senior Paralegals on the Restaurant Development Legal Team:

  • Independently support our business clients to take on complex due diligence and construction issues

  • Are established title and survey experts who resolve title issues and collaborate with title companies to obtain adequate title insurance coverage

  • Analyze contracts, leases, easements, restrictive covenants, declarations, and other legal documents

  • Prepare and negotiate real estate documents such as declarations, easements, SNDAs, License Agreements, Closing Escrow Agreements, restrictive covenants, non-disturbance agreements

  • Manage purchase and lease transactions by gathering transactional documents, coordinating closings and overseeing recording of documents

  • Mentor and train Paralegals and other real estate legal professionals to support their growth and development

  • Think strategically to anticipate future business needs and identify existing opportunities, including by developing new practices, leading change efforts, and adopting new technologies to unlock efficiency

The expected salary range for this role is $50.33- $64.17/ per hour

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent education

  • 3+ years of experience as commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department setting

  • Have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to handle multiple competing priorities and embody a collaborative team spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering reliability
