ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Shareholders’ Equity Statement and Statement of Cash Flows)
Assist with the monthly consolidation and elimination process
Assist with the preparation of Bank Reporting and related processes
Assist in analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual region/country financial information to ensure compliance with Global Accounting Policies and GAAP
Assist with the implementation of system, financial reporting and general process enhancements which ensure the consistent application of best practices across all locations
Assist in preparation of footnote related schedules for External filings
Review and perform analytics and explain variances on regional and consolidated financial results
Assist with coordination of collection from international finance teams of required financial and non-financial information for external reporting, effectively communicating underlying requirements and concepts
Lead special projects and assist with ad hoc requests, as needed
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
CPA not required but would be preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, global public company and Big 4 or second tier public accounting experience strongly preferred
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
Detail oriented, strong organizational and time management skills
Solid reconciliation and analysis skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with reporting groups in an international environment
Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team under pressure to meet specific deadlines
Ability to lead projects and exercise judgment to support and document conclusions
Knowledge of reporting and general ledger systems preferred (i.e., HFM, Workday)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
