Shipping & Receiving Clerks Needed!
Our client on the east side of Chicago is seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks to join their team on the Southeast side of Chicago. This is a temp to hire role; all shifts available; pay $18 - $20.50 per hour. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in pursuing this role. Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerks
Location: Southeast side of Chicago
Pay Range: $18 - $20.50 per hour
What’s the Job?
Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a timely and friendly manner.
Sign drivers in and notify warehouse for dock assignment.
Coordinate with warehouse/transportation ensuring timely/accurate preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers if applicable.
Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and updates visual aids
Verify paperwork with and releases drivers once paperwork is completed.
Completes receipts including pallets for loads.
Verify product count to ensure accuracy of data entered in computer.
Notify management of pending no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.
Arrange outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups.
Call carriers for late and/or no-show trucks and reschedule appointments
