Capgemini Senior Product Software Engineer - Technical Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job description:

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for a Quick Serve Restaurant Mobile Application development project. They will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. They may also be responsible for motivating their team and delegating tasks among their team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·Lead and manage mobile application development projects from inception to completion.

  • ·Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and product managers, to ensure project goals are met.

  • ·Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • ·Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

  • ·Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

  • ·Identify and manage project risks and issues.

  • ·Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.

  • ·Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • ·Facilitate the continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required Skills:

  • Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and precision.

  • Strong critical thinking and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them.

  • Expertise in creating and managing detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.

  • Expertise in managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Expertise in mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture) and a strong understanding of RESTful APIs

  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact mobile applications that have achieved significant user adoption and business growth.

  • 8 years of experience in mobile software development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects for both iOS or Android platforms.

  • Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional) are highly desirable.
