Kellanova Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Management in Chicago, Illinois

As a Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Management, you will utilize your analytical expertise to develop strategies that leverage pricing and promotion. Additionally, you’ll focus on price pack architecture (PPA) and mix to drive top and bottom-line growth for our Salty Snacking category. This hybrid role can sit in greater Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI regions. You’ll be an individual contributor working directly with your manager who is located in the Greater Chicago area.

Working with our Salty Snacking team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions by integrating analytics and business intelligence. With an owner’s mindset and enthusiasm for the future, you will be developing strategies to shape the growth of our business.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Price/Promotion Insights & Strategy – Develop best practices by creating pricing and promotion principles. Create future PPA recommendations that cater to the needs of Kellanova, our customers, and our consumers. Optimize retailer-level pricing to enable profitable growth for Kellanova and its customers. Balancing pricing and trade investment to optimize sales and return on investment will be key to your success.

  • Business Analytics – Your analytical mindset will serve you well as you provide data, analysis, and insights to the sales team. This will involve examining the impact of customer trends and overall macro-economic trends on price and promotions. Leveraging Nielsen price and promotion tools, you will answer business questions and promote efficient pricing and promotion strategies.

  • Account Support – You will act as a crucial link between the Field Sales organization and Business Units on price and promotion analytics. This position manages the quality and delivery of price and promotion models/tools built by Nielsen for accounts. Prioritizing business issues and effectively managing resources, you will work to meet Kellanova’s business needs.

  • Internal Collaboration - Partnering with Marketing, Customer Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Business Planning, and the Kellanova USA Revenue Management team will be an important aspect of this position. Together, you will work to enable price pack architecture recommendations, trade efficiency, pre/post-event analysis, and business understanding.

  • Communication - Communicating effectively across multiple internal/external customers and building commitments through influence and persuasion will be critical. Translating results into clear, concise presentations and written reports will enable internal and external customers to quickly make decisions.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High School Diploma / GED with multiple years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive experience applying analytical tools to business problems.

  • Ability to understand and explain complex methodologies and outcomes in ways customers can apply.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of economic/financial concepts (e.g. price elasticity, pricing thresholds, trade rate, net sales, gross profit).

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Nielsen scanner data.
