Position Summary

As an Industry SME, the role will include working with Huron executives, our Go-To-Market team, our Technology team, and Salesforce to define industry points of view that will be converted into sales plays based on Manufacturing industry needs and industry trends. The director will draw on their experiences, and Manufacturing industry analysis to define compelling and defendable industry points of view that will gain the attention of clients and help Huron differentiate themselves in the market from their competitors. The director must be comfortable presenting to clients and assuming the role of a trusted Manufacturing Salesforce advisor. The role will also require the director to work and guide our technology team to enable the visualization of the PoV / GTM through the creation of a demonstrable assets. The director will be evaluated based on the success as defined by direct and indirect revenue generated as a result of the GTM developed from the PoVs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A desire to work in the management consulting industry

  • 10+ years’ industry experience in Manufacturing industry

  • Demonstrated breadth and depth of the Manufacturing industry

  • Thorough understanding of the Manufacturing Industry and market sector with ability to leverage knowledge in anticipation of the evolving needs of customers and industry trends

  • Ability to clearly present the Manufacturing trends internally at Huron and externally to clients.

  • Ability to clearly articulate the Manufacturing industry best practices, lessons learnt, success stories and failure stories.

  • Ability to operate and communicate at client senior levels, director and above.

  • Comfortable presenting and defending a position.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, PowerPoint is required.

  • Salesforce knowledge a plus

  • Consulting experience a plus

  • Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in business related field for this position

The estimated base salary range for this job is $175,000 - $225,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $218,750 - $303,750. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
