What will you be doing?

The Retail Account Manager is a crucial member of the Retail Client Insights team. The ideal candidate would need to have a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving capabilities, paired with an innovative and analytical mind. Ability to multi-task, along with superb organizational and interpersonal engagement skills are also critical to deliver all-round excellent service to the Retail client. Your end goal will be helping our client grow their business while identifying opportunities to drive revenue for Circana.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build your understanding of the Beauty industry and your client\'s business as well as a wider perspective on the state of the U.S. Retail landscape; develop expertise in what is affecting shoppers and retailer performance.
  • Coordinate, execute, analyze, and present findings from available data assets, making relevant recommendations for potential opportunities for our client with actionable next steps.
  • Work cross-functionally at Circana to address your client\'s business questions, and advocate for their needs.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and trainings on Circana\'s tools and platforms.
  • Partner with the broader Account Team to tackle strategic projects as well as ad-hoc business analyses.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, account management, or related fields
  • Retail experience and/or Beauty industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and ability to mine large amounts of data
  • Effective team player and proven ability to work remotely as well as onsite with clients across virtual and diverse teams
  • Strong project and workload management and proactive management of internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to engage in a consultative manner with clients at all levels when helping solve/manage deliverables and critical business challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style to the audience and the ability to understand and respond to another\'s point of view.
  • Demonstrated resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges and change.
  • Strong commercial acumen and appreciation of contractual obligations.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Chicago preferred, or Remote with ability to travel as needed.
