JPMorgan Chase Research Analyst- Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries- Vice President in Chicago, Illinois
As a research analyst, you will provide macro and market insights to internal and external stakeholders of Commercial Banking.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Analyze macroeconomic data and capital markets trends
Write short summaries of economics and market developments
Create presentations that summarize research views
Compose research notes and industry reports
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
6+ years of financial industry experience
Previous experience in economics, capital markets, strategy, investment banking, and/or equity/credit research
Firm grasp of key macroeconomic concepts: interest rates, GDP, unemployment, inflation, supply chains
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills including charts and formatting
Proficient in Word
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
Desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating role
Healthcare, tech, manufacturing and/or consumer industry knowledge a plus
Comfortable in client-facing situations; presentation/public speaking experience a plus
