Insight Global REMOTE Global Salesforce Release Manager/ Scrum Master in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to join their Salesforce Global Enterprise Platform to drive the coordination, development, and release of Salesforce work items into production. The Scrum Master / Project Manager will leverage project management practices and a hybrid Agile methodology to serve in the role of scrum master for one or more development teams. This person will work in a multi-team environment to plan and coordinate rapid software development and frequent product releases in a regulated space. This role understands the principles behind best software development practices and can guide people to stay true to those principles.

Responsibilities:

 Facilitate meetings such as Daily Stand-Ups, Backlog Prioritization, Sprint Planning, Demo Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-efficient.

 Lead by example, inspire and motivate the team, and foster a collaborative and self-organizing environment.

 Advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization, encouraging a mindset of flexibility, collaboration, and customer focus.

 Collaborate with product management and regional leads to define what features will be included with each release. Work with DevOps and Software Quality teams to confirm the quality of release with stakeholders and ensure proper release documents are in place.

 Drive continuous improvements among the team increasing velocity and efficiency. Help maintain and advance software development procedures, best practices, and guidance documentation

 Create dashboards and reports to communicate areas for process improvement and hold teams accountable for proper tool usage. Prepare and present status reports, burn down charts and other KPI reporting to stakeholders.

 Coaching team members on Agile practices and helping them improve their skills and performance, as well as foster a high-performance work environment

 Project Management track progress, manage scope, mitigate risks, escalate issues, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

 Release Management: Coordinate release activities including release approval documentation, Change Advisory Board (CAB) process and submission, adhering to C&W Change Management Policy and SOX requirements for Salesforce IT SOX control adherence.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of exp as a Scrum Master

 3+ years of Salesforce Implementation

 Project experience: Sales Cloud

 Background working product owners, business, functional lead and scrum team to pick up prioritized user stories from the backlog

 Leadership Competencies:

o Self-starter: Proactive, and willing to take on whatever work is required to get the job done

o Strong understanding of agile life cycle methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

o Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage projects and time

o Build strong relationships with vendors and implementation partners Bachelor's degree, preferably in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems. Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

 Salesforce.com certified in the following areas Administrator, Sales or Service Cloud Consultant

 Scrum Certified or commitment to obtain Scrum Master Certification

 Project experience: Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud

 Scaling agile practices in large organizations null
