We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Accountant in Chicago, Illinois. This role is situated within the Real Estate industry and will involve utilizing various accounting software systems. As a Payroll Accountant, you will be tasked with numerous responsibilities related to payroll processing, account management, and auditing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage various accounting software systems to perform payroll accounting tasks efficiently

• Use ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and management

• Perform 401k - RRSP Administration utilizing appropriate software

• Perform various accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll.

Requirements

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Ability to administer 401k - RRSP Administration

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organization and time management skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
