Active Regular FT (72 to 80 hours per pay period)
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be part of our Social Work and Community Health team at Rush University Medical Center!
General Summary :
The Clinical Social Worker is a key member of the Rush Social Work and Community Health team. This LCSW position primarily provides individual and group psychotherapy services for adults and adolescents, primarily caring for patients being seen by the interprofessional team staffing Rush Epilepsy's Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizure (PNES) clinic. This position requires strong partnership and innovation skills and may also serve as a representative of Social Work and Community Health social work in meetings and presentations. Finally, this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values, and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
This position is full-time, for a total of five days a week, which may include a combination of weekend days and/or evenings. Due to COVID-19, this will primarily be a remote position.
Provide psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, and older adults.
Provide psychotherapy services to patients enrolled in Rush's PNES clinic, specifically the delivery of mindfulness-based psychotherapy.
Manage data collection efforts for clinic.
Participate in scheduled meetings and clinic days with interdisciplinary team in PNES clinic.
As part of PNES clinic psychotherapy delivery, work with patients' caregivers/supports as appropriate, including family sessions as indicated.
Refer to clinical care management and other on-demand social work services as appropriate.
Maintain relationships with referring Rush clinics and providers through consistent and timely communication.
Promote the Rush Generations and Resource Centers' program offerings by helping clients to connect with programs that address their needs.
Document all client interactions in either the Epic, Maxsys or LVM software.
Promote Rush University Medical Center clinical services by referring clients to relevant Rush clinics.
Represent the Social Work and Community Health department at meetings, conferences or other public engagements on an as-needed basis.
Master's degree in Social Work.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois
Experience in psychotherapy
2-5 years' experience in healthcare and/or social services and/or psychotherapy preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
