Position Overview: The Key Account Manager, DSO will establish and implement the overall sales strategy within DSO’s. This position will be responsible for meeting the growth objectives of the business and achieving maximum results within the Orascoptic DSO market segment. The KAM, DSO will lead an internal team, without direct authority, in support of sales objectives in the DSO market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own strategic direction of DSO/GPO in our global markets, identify key growth opportunities and develop account management plan to retain and grow existing business.

  • Actively target new DSO sales opportunities, responsible for searching for bid opportunities and working with sales and legal team to respond/negotiate RFP’s

  • Conduct DSO presentations to large audiences

  • Co-Travel with sales reps to sell and support at educational events and tradeshows

  • Develop, train and maintain DSO market playbook and ensure presentations include latest products, along with Orascoptic’s value proposition

  • Train and educate existing and new sales reps on how to grow DSO market share

  • Collaborate with marketing team to create high quality proposals, flyers and other sales collateral

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent B2B sales experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales/account management

  • Valid state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • Medical Device, Dental or Healthcare sales industry preferred

  • DSO sales experience preferred.

  • Previous experience in strategic account management is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to learn business systems (i.e. CRM software and other sales tools) required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

  • This position requires an individual that can manage several projects or requests at the same time with strong attention to detail throughout.

  • This position requires an individual that can complete requests, orders, etc. in a timely manner; also, will follow up as needed or promised to support internal and external clients.

  • Must be comfortable navigating and leveraging key people across the business to get work completed.

  • Must be adept at managing up for support when needed and identifying opportunities for robust and repeatable processes to implement when appropriate.

TRAVEL/LOCATION:

  • Laptop, iPad, iPhone and eligible for car allowance.

  • Geographic Territory : All of North America & UK

  • Overnight Travel : 50%+

  • Candidates can be based out of any major US city & willing to fulfill travel requirements.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
