This is an exciting opportunity for someone with HR experience in the manufacturing space with a strong skillset in managing employee relations and recruiting. This person will be working onsite at two of their Chicagoland locations and will need to be bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and candidate selection.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other talent sources to support staffing needs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
• Support the performance management process by assisting managers with goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks as needed.
• Prepare and distribute HR communications, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding across the organization.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and promote a fair and equitable workplace.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR with a focus on employee relations
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week betwween two Chicago locations
