Forklift Operators Needed (stand-up)
Our client on the Southeast of Chicago is seeking stand-up forklift operators to join their team. These are temp to hire roles; starting pay is $19 per hour; all shifts available. Job Title: Forklift Operators Needed
Location: Southeast side of Chicago
Pay Range: $19-$20.50 per hour
What’s the Job?
What you’ll do:
• Assist in daily warehouse operations including vendor receiving, computer system operation, tagging, picking, staging and inventory of all products
• Organize and secure materials such as boxes, pallets etc.
• Load and unload product with stand-up forklift onto pallets, platforms, skids, trucks or lifting devices
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Examine and verify types of goods and abide by compliance standards
• Read and verify tickets to determine accuracy of inbound and outbound orders
• Compare records, read manifests, invoices and orders to ensure accuracy
• Work with teams to adhere and improve upon key performance metrics and engineered labor standards
