As a DPI Project Management Apprentice on our IT team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow & develop project management skills while making an impact, supporting an area of focus to mitigate risk. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efforts are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the SOX project plans and schedules.

  • Track project progress and report on key metrics.

  • Assist with administrative level activities such as scheduling control walkthroughs and meetings.

  • Coordinate with team members and control owners obtaining necessary evidence across the organization that is needed by auditors and stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.

  • Prepare compliance related project and oversight committee documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.

  • Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and decision-making.

  • Successful completion of the DPI career development program

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet schedules and deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task, plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments while paying close attention to detail.

  • Strong project management skills, utilizing personnel from multiple disciplines.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and financial skills

  • Strong communication and active listening skills – both written and verbal

  • Proficient in MS Office 365
