What will I be doing?

As a data mining analyst you will analyzes large datasets (over 1 million data points) using advanced statistical techniques and software. This position deals with a vast amount of varying types of data entering the ecosystem the Data Mining Analyst would identify changes in data before clients do. Must be proactive in finding solutions and any issues. The key focus of this position will be data quality and ensuring no bad data ends up in the ecosystem. The data mining analyst would be in the data building out trends and metrics to identify changes in collection data. You will capture metrics and create change and insightful visualization. You will do root cause analysis. This position will also analyze trends of the receipt data and be proactive in Data quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Be an SME when comes to our vast data assetssources (Transactional Data)
• Responsible for designing data profilingrending and similar checks for data quality and consistency.
• Documenting and designing automated checks to ensure data quality.
• Working with Product, Engineering, Data Science and other groups to institute processes for data validation and quality.
• Identify trend breaks and other data quality issues.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external clients to identify issues and opportunities to improve our data.
• Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to facilitate data reviews.
• Provide ad-hoc data, analytics, and insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics or other quantitative disciplines.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
• Data visualization experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Domo is a plus.
• Expert in SQL querying,
• Ability to communicate insights from complex data sets.
• Experience with the Retail Industry is a plus.
• Strong analytic and quantitative abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurship showing proactive and curious minded

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee\'s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is \$100k to \$120k.
