You will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to the firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling the firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm. McKinsey has an E&C program that is structured in a way that ensures that it is well designed, empowered tofunction effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies, procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to ensure the program is well-integrated into the firm's operations and workforce. This opportunity works in the Regulatory Readiness and Response pillar, which is responsible for instilling trust that the firm adheres to regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Director of Regulatory Readiness and Response. Your impact within our firm In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing project management standards, processes, and best practices for the E&C program while also overseeing the execution of specific program execution related activities such as crafting targeted messages for various stakeholders, building program reporting dashboards, standardizing communication templates, building onboarding materials for program teams, etc. You will develop clear and persuasive communication regarding program progress, and regularly build status updates in various formats (written, verbal) to the firm leadership, E&C program oversight committees, and E&C leadership. You will liaise with individual workstream owners across the E&C program delivery to provide surge / ad-hoc capacity and leadership oversight for program delivery (e.g., guidance on building workstream workplans, deliverable QC support, status updates, syndication and certification support). You will also serve as the primary contact for specific E&C program-related questions and queries from internal and external stakeholders. You will support the review of the E&C program and provide input to program leads to continuously improve and enhance program effectiveness. Additionally, you will lead a high-impact team to deliver against priorities, supporting their growth and development needs through processes such as review, recruitment, and coaching. Finally, you will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful prac ices. Your qualifications and skills Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree(s) and/or applicable professional certifications in compliance, accounting, and project management preferred 7+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in driving and implementing holistic E&C programs especially around regulatory response Experience or strong working knowledge in relevant laws and regulations in the US Large-scale, complex transformation experience required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolution Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and craft cohesive storylines and communications Adept at influencing and engaging with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships Builds trust-based relationships with leaders within and outside of the team; collaborates generously with others and is sought after as a key thought partner Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with ability to drive to outcomes on cross-functional and complex topics Exhibit highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential materials Demonstrated track record of enabling a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive environment for all colleagues Passion for people development and experience for leading global, multi-disciplinary teams Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues. For new joiners for this role in Canada and/or the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, a reasonable estimated range is $152,300 - $203,000 in USD and $153,000 - $204,000 in CAD - to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
