Our regional shopping centers create a sense of place in the heart of the communities in which we do business offering retail, lifestyle, dining, and entertainment opportunities.The Business Analyst’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems which support core organizational functions. The ideal candidate is both technically-savvy and business-focused. As a member of the IT Accounting and Finance Program, you will be responsible for partnering closely with business leaders and technical teams to combine business and technical perspectives into cohesive and effective solutions which provide exceptional business value. You will support multiple concurrent high visibility projects that cross several business departments. As a Business Analyst, you will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve business problems while emphasizing process optimization and maximizing the benefit of IT systems.Key Responsibilities

  • Support system migration to Yardi during the Yardi Implementation Project.

  • Work closely with the Yardi (and integrated systems) end users and professional services to tailor systems based on business requirements.

  • Perform business analysis through compiling and analyzing data, eliciting and documenting requirements, designing and facilitating QA and User testing, and championing process optimization.

  • Develop and maintain program artifacts including system specification and design document, procedures, training guides, business cases, test cases and test case library, flow charts and process flows.

  • Gather information and document As-Is and To-Be business process models which will be used to support change management and process improvement efforts.

  • Maintain and assist all Yardi ETL (upload) file generation by users and subsystems.

  • Provide administrative support for end-user and system configuration for Yardi and integrated systems.

  • Coordinate activities with team members and other stakeholders to ensure delivery within timeline and budget.

  • Provide timely and effective communication to both IT and business stakeholders.

  • Provide demonstration and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

  • Perform initial triage to validate and resolve (or escalate where appropriate) production issues within prescribed SLAs.

  • Work with third-party vendors to analyze business and system impact for new releases to ensure the system meets the business requirements while recommending new tools and/or feature to further enhance system and process.

  • Stay up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years’ experience in Business Analysis within an agile setting.

  • 2+ years’ experience with Yardi preferred.

  • Background in the real estate industry is preferred.

  • SS1 Experience supporting real estate accounting and finance, treasury, property management, and investment accounting applications.

  • Intermediate or higher skill level using Microsoft Excel-specifically VLookup, Index/Match, ETL, and managing large data sets.

  • Strong facilitation, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies, practices, frameworks, techniques, and work planning tools such as Jira.

  • Ability to work independently or on a team.

  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities with effective results.
