Duties: Work on the different stages of real estate investment transactions including market research, underwriting, property tours, preparation of offering materials, marketing, participating in the meetings and discussions with sellers and buyers. Help clients to determine the winning bidders, assist the deal parties during due diligence, negotiations of closing documents and procedures. Prepare offering memorandums and executive summaries for commercial real estate transactions, including investment highlights, property description, market and location overview, financial analysis. Prepare complex financial modeling in Argus valuation software and Excel utilizing market and JLL data to correctly underwrite commercial real estate transactions. Manage the due diligence process and be the driving force in working through the marketing and closing processes for each transaction, being in constant communication with the producer, the seller and the buyer. Work with internal and external professional tools and software to effectively identify the data that will be useful to determine real estate market trends and prepare valuations, pitches, assist clients in making decisions related to their business plan and capital structure. Review and understand real estate documents, such as, leases, tax documents, operating statements, third-party reports and others. Develop and recommend financing alternatives to present to the producer. Build client networks within the industry through meetings, events, and involvement in real estate trade organizations. Participate in weekly office meetings with producers to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions, and review new client leads. May telecommute.

Requirements: Masters degree in Real Estate Finance, Business Administration, or Economics and 2 years of experience in the job offered or an analyst-related occupation.\ \ Experience must include:\ \ 1. Market research and data analysis, and work with big databases;\ 2. Complex financial modeling and analysis, ability to build a valuation model from the scratch;\ 3. Composition of executive summaries and offering memorandums;\ 4. Identification of the threats and investment highlights for commercial real estate properties;\ 5. Marketing, due-diligence and deal closing processes management;\ 6. Real estate financing documents, such as, leases, operating and accounting statements, and appraisals;\ 7. Working with legal documents during real estate transactions, such as, agency agreements, confidential agreements, term sheets and sale and purchase agreements;\ 8. Negotiations and communication skills, such as, ability to mediate the issues between the buyers and sellers to have the deal closed;\ 9. Salesforce and Capforce CRM systems; and\ 10. Working in virtual data rooms, such as, Intralinks, Firmex, Box, and OneDrive.
