The Team and Job Summary
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Intellectual Property team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Intellectual Property team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Analyst. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of the Intellectual Property industry, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities:
Creating complex financial models
Performing and synthesizing in-depth industry, technology and company-specific research
Preparing presentations and marketing materials
Conducting investor or sector research
Attending client meetings
Reviewing, understanding, and valuing client proprietary technologies
Managing investment banking and other transaction advisory processes and assisting in capital raising and M&A efforts
Reviewing and analyzing financial, marketing and other documents
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economic, or another mathematical field
Academic success – minimum 3.5 GPA
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High degree of professionalism, integrity, flexibility
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
